This place would have gotten FIVE stars if there wasn't a RUDE hostess calling out people's names to be seated!!! She MUST be related to someone who owns the joint!! It was shocking how rude & RUSHED she was about her job! Now as for the food... CUDOS to the cooks!!! Great flavor AND fantastic portions! The place was PACKED on a Sat. morning... A GREAT sign for me that they would have good food & they did!!

Economical breakfast for two. Omelet for $4.95 and large enough for two people. You can't go wrong. Service is quick and staff are very friendly.

This is a very consistently good breakfast diner. Been here 6 or 7 times with the family. Absolutely no complaints. Polish scrambler is a favorite. Good omelets. Giant pancakes. Everyone including the kids leave full and happy.

Nothing special diner fare in a standard diner atmosphere - Formica tables, vinyl chairs, etc. Brusque but efficient "what'll it be, Bub" waitresses, tables too closely spaced, mostly locals. It's a weekend breakfast destination so be prepared to wait then. That's the only time we've been, so maybe the experience is better on weekdays.

Hearty standard American fare. If you're hungry and want a good breakfast, this place consistently delivers. The Polish Scramble is very good.

Good food for the value! Although it does seem like you are going back in time. Small omlettes are the size of any "normal size"). Get there early! We'll be back!

If you are looking for a fantastic LOCAL breakfast spot, look no further. Service is great, food is plentiful at excellent prices. They make you feel like you are home. Do not miss this gem.

People brag about this place i dont know why??? I found it overpriced and below average for breakfast! Denny's is better!

The coffee is burnt! It is nasty, but the wife likes it. Been there several times and its always the same. The food is nothing to write home about. He omlettes are not cooked all the way. My peppers and onions fall out onto the plate. Don't waste your time. We now go to the Perfect Cup on Matlacha. THE best breakfast in town!

Perhaps the most recognizable behind in all of Cape Coral, Annie's diner has been around for as long as many locals can remember and has been considered a favorite for just as long! A local family diner, one of those "greasy spoon" types, that you can treat and comfort yourself with at least once a week, offers a variety of local home-cooked favorites. Annie's huge pancakes, enormous omelettes, and decadent crepes, paired with her quick, friendly service, keeps her diner packed.

This place was just your average breakfast place. It has all the classic breakfast items/combos, nothing fancy or creative. Which is not a bad thing, it's good to have the basics down! It was super busy when we got there so that tells me people love this basic breakfast joint. I got a pancake, two eggs, and bacon. You can't go wrong with it! The portion was big, as it was super cheap! Our bill for 4 people was under $26. I would of gave this place a 4 star rating, but when we sat down and I turned my coffee cup upright to get some of that hot morning liquid.... and there was lipstick on it, which was pretty gross. So I would totally check your cups, and make sure you got a clean one!!

We come here for breakfast since many years and love this place. Reasonable prices for really good food. Huge pancakes! Highly recommended!

Located off the beaten track , but worth every dime. Always eat where the locals eat, and you won't be disappointed. Our waitress looked like actress " Holly Hunter" . She was excellent! Told us a few local hot spots to visit and we enjoyed all her recommendations. Food was served quickly and delicious. Everything was homemade. Only bad mention- get there early ( seats are like gold)

Great food, great service, our server was hilarious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Usually a short wait but well worth it. Pricing is great for what you get. This place has been here forever.

This is one of Cape Coral's breakfast hotspots. Nothing fancy here ladies and gentleman, just a good ole fashioned hearty breakfast at very reasonable prices. You can expect a wait to get seated (ours was 15mins) during season, but the generous portions of breakfast classics make it well worth the short wait. Even though this place was slammed our service was incredibly expedient and personal. If your looking for a great way to start your day, venture over to Annie's.

Why isn't anyone reviewing this place? This is "the" place for breakfast in the Cape. This is simple breakfast diner fare. Worth the small wait during "snowbird season" when it does become rather crowded inside. I love their Denver and "Everything" omelets.

My wife and I go here regularly. Very good for what you pay. Omelette are huge, pancakes are massive. Overall typical dive type of breakfast joint. Would recommend to anyone.

First off the food was good and the prices were great! This place is really lacking in the service area. Whoever put the lady at hostess stand in charge is an idiot. She literally handed us our menus and told us to go to the table over there. Then when we were leaving their credit card machine was slow and she was giving us attitude for not having cash. Overall if you want a traditional breakfast and want something a little off the beaten path check it out. Don't be expecting anything spectacular though!

Staff is genuine, helpful, and just plain cute. MONSTER pancakes. Omelets too. Perfect cheap hangover breakfast. Their coffee cups are all miss-matched which is also adorable. Just come try it out.

I agree that this place is overrated!! Coffee is undrinkable! Breakfast is bland. Hell waffle house is better than this!

OK breakfast at an OK price. Can be busy very quickly and sometimes the waitresses get affected by this amount of traffic a little too easily.

The reviews are overly positive thus far on this place. The food is mostly waffle house grade with virtually no seasoning. The coffee is very weak and is pretty bad overall. This restaurant is run down as the owner has not bothered with simple fixes such as replacing ceiling tiles that are stained from leaks. There are some bright spots here and that is the service is usually very good, the prices are good and the pancakes are excellent. This would be a two star place without these exceptions. All in all it is OK but I certainly cannot see any reason to recommend this place over Mambo (cheaper and more food), Jimbos (very similar but on the water), South Cape Diner (cleaner with similar food and prices).

Great breakfast. Reasonable prices. The pancakes are very good!

Classic Florida. Local breakfast/lunch diner. The food is nothing great its all pretty standard, but the place is a charming community mainstay.

Great breakfasts (huge omelette, yummy blueberry or chocolate pancakes...), super service (our waitress suggested I get a special that would cost less while still giving me what I wanted), and all at a reasonable price.

Absolute great place for breakfast. Always very busy in the mornings but still the service is good and quick. I would highly recommend this place.

Terrible place to eat. I seen the waitress drop the toast on the ground and pick it up and put it back on the plate and serve it to the customer. I seen the owner ( Annie) off to the side yelling at another waitress until she cried. This is a place I will never go to again.
